Why Sitira?

Sitira is the Greek word for “grain.” In physics, when certain particles or “grains” are coupled together in perfect alignment, they become superconductive – able to endlessly transmit energy with zero resistance. In life, we believe the same to be true for leaders and organizations. When they’re able to intentionally align their strategic goals and underlying values, they enjoy a state of natural ease and boundless energy, in turn creating the optimal environment for long-term success.

Many leaders value possessing a strong business acumen and often overlook the power of self-awareness and leveraging emotional intelligence. No matter how big or small, every decision we make, be it professional or personal, has an emotional aspect to it. Leaders who tap into this idea and are aware of their strengths and values lead more effectively, producing better results and doing so with greater ease.

Through leadership coaching, we help leaders identify and understand their own values while working to provide them with the skills and tools they need to leverage this newfound awareness. By extending the learnings from leadership coaching back into the organization through organizational effectiveness consulting, we foster the development of a high-performing culture in which both the leader and the organization achieve their sustainable level of optimized performance.

REVEAL

Understanding who we are at our core creates possibilities

We believe that in order to get where you’re going, it’s important to understand where you’ve been and where you are. Our approach begins with an open and honest assessment through which we will work to achieve a deep understanding of the leader and/or the organization. By uncovering and clarifying the underlying characteristics that make a leader who they are (such as their values, beliefs, strengths, weaknesses), we are better equipped to identify specific adjustments related to the discrete task or issue at hand, as well as holistic improvements to their personal and professional wellbeing. 


REFRAME

Having awareness creates choice and opportunity

Using the insights and understanding gleaned from the first phase of our process, we work with leaders and organizations to reframe their perception and approach in a way that most easily allows for them to achieve alignment between their strategic goals and emotional intelligence. Through guided introspection and candid feedback, we help individuals and teams discover the answers and solutions they seek to both the challenges they know they're facing, and the ones they may not know they have.
